    Situation of work :       Sculpture gallery at Rajbari Archaeological Site, Rajbari, Dist.- Hojai.

    Allocated amount :       2.10 lakh

    Brief description of the site: Rajbari Archaeological Site has brick and stone architectural evidence of at least six temples laid in a planned manner. The temples are surrounded by a brick built boundary wall. These brick and stone architectural remains of the temples belong to 9th – 10th century A.D. Some selected stone temple relics of this site have been preserved and displayed for the visitors at the sculpture gallery of Rajbari Archaeological Site.

    Item of works :    The sculpture gallery at Rajbari Archaeological Site has been renovated by doing the following works.

    1. Providing of C.C. work.
    2. Providing of brick work with cement plaster.
    3. Construction of floor.
    4. Providing of wood work.
    5. Providing of C.G.I. sheet roofing.
    6. Providing of ceiling.
    7. Providing of M.S. grill.
    8. Painting on sculpture gallery and chainlink fencing have been completed.

    Situation of work :       Hatimura Archaeological Site, Jakhalabandha,     Dist.- Nagaon.

    Allocated amount :       6.00 lakh

    Brief description of the site: In this site a brick-built temple built by Gadadhar Tarun Duara Barphukan as ordered by Swargadeo Pramatta Singha in 1745 upon the ruins of a stone temple datable to 9th – 10th century A.D. exists on the top of the hillock.

     A rock cut image of Durga datable to 9th -10th century A.D. exists in the garbhagriha of the temple.

    Item of works : A visitor’s shed has been constructed at Hatimura Archaeological site.
