Brief description of the site: Mikirati Archaeological Site has nine mounds having structural evidence of brick-built temples. Excavation of such a mound has exposed brick-built temple plinth along with stone pranala. Here exists another stone temple plinth having a Siva-Linga and Yonipith. Stylistically this archaeological development may be datable to 7th – 12th Century A.D.

Brief description of the site: Here exists a group of Megaliths called Menhir. The word Megalith is a combination of two Greek words, where ‘Mega’ means big and ‘Litho’ means stone. These are tall upright monumental stones and exist isolated in the form of natural column. The largest of these megaliths measures 510cm in height and 240cm in breadth. The Menhirs are installed by the Karbi people in memory of their deceased persons.
