Restoration of an Archaeological monument is one of the prime function of the Directorate. The dilapidated and deplorable standing monuments and other structural remains, Archaeological sites of the state has been taken for restoration work. The restoration works follows the basic principal of conservation as mentioned in the John Marshall’s conservation manual 1922.
